| Taking account of your hardships is the wrong way to go.
Paul lists things he and other have gone through, but he is not feeling sorry
for himself, nor is he trying to get recognition for the past.
He is pointing out the privilege of enduring anything and everything for the
sake of Christ.
It is the flesh that yelps and contorts about what it has been through. It is
the flesh that has to be compensated.
Soldier, He gave up Glory, and died a public death.
His resurrection was private.
We don't need to know why, we don't need to make others know how much
we have been through, and we don't need to compare ourselves to others.
We need to be gazing upon Him.
