     How does God deal with defiance, stubbornness and rebellion?
     Nothing has changed.  He has always removed His Presence from those
who deliberately and forcibly try to have their own way.
     From the beginning of time, the Lord set into place a design that would    
protect His Own - Obedience.  When there is unholiness, He removes His 
Presence, and the enemy has all kinds of room to manipulate the soul.  The
rebel is blind and deaf to spiritual things, and is usually angry or depressed. 
     Those who are saved cannot lose their salvation.  But when there is sin, the 
Indwelling Holy Spirit is quenched. 
     Soldier of The Cross, you must regularly yield your attitude and your tongue 
to the Lord in prayer.
     Pity and pray for those who have tasted His goodness, but have chosen to
stray from the safety of Obedience to God's Word.
     Watch your own step.  He could come for us this very day.
