After you have pressed on, you get to see the Lord. He is not going to let you see Him in order to move ahead. He has asked you to move by faith, and when you obey, He will reveal Himself in a new dimension. Soldier, deal with the next hour. Use the time wisely. Refrain from sin. Minister to others. This is pressing on. It does not give a feeling of accomplishment or a sense of success. Yet, there is a divine cleanness that springs from this kind of obedience. The Lord divided up your life into time segments, and that is the way you must live it. This is the essence of pressing on. |
