How is it possible that Christians tell each other what they should do?
God has given us gifted counselors in the Body, but they are few and far
between. And those who are truly appointed by God are reticent to dictate the
next move for anyone.
Soldier of the Cross, be very, very careful not to rush in and give advice. When
we are asked, we may certainly share a verse and pray with one who is troubled,
but in my experience, the believer who approaches another and tells him how the
next move should be handled - that speaker is in dangerous territory.
Pray for Light for the one who does not know what to do.
Apart from that, unless you are asked, do not offer advice.
And, if you are asked, consider not offering advice.
Advice given apart from the Holy Spirit is a serious ministry of death.
