     What is service?
     Doing anything the Lord asks.
     Many Christians have a concept of serving the Lord.  They think of service as
something that can be publicly acknowledge.  Most often, people think of 
Christian service as being part of an effort that can be identified with a mission,
an assembly, or other institution that supports or propagate the Gospel.
     But in fact, serving the Lord encompassed all thoughts and activities. 
     Serving Him begins by agreeing with Him.
     The servant then follows Him.
     And the servant obeys him.
     There is far more private service to the Lord than there is visible service.  The
angels see many who are in terribly difficult situations, yet like Job, they refuse to
blame the Lord.  And, along with Job, the say, "though He slay me, yet will I
trust Him. . ."
      That is service.
