     The Lord always does the unexpected.
     In fact, that is all He does.  That is because our minds can only contain that
which we have experienced, or that which others have imparted to us.  Yet, we
have a God who loves us with penetrating love, and who is infinitely creative.
     So, Soldier, we can expect the unexpected.
     God's Word teaches us that we need to leave self behind and take up the
Cross.  In so doing, we learn to see Jesus more quickly, more accurately, and
more completely.
     Soldier  of the Cross, expect the Lord!
