   Pride is a most curious deceiver.
     The believer who considers himself knowledgeable or quite capable, becomes
swollen with soul-power.  He fancies himself to see what others do not see and
he is always horizontal in his observations.
     Soldier, he who gazes upon the Lord is a humble man.  It is the natural result.
Looking at Jesus brings about a transformation, because it is not possible to even 
glance at Him without seeing some previously undiscovered aspect of His 
personality and nature.
     Soul-power always has to prove someone else wrong.  It nurses on pride, and
the one who sought so hard to be on top, becomes its victim.
     Be simple.
     Follow Jesus.
