Deliberate sin is serious.

I have often heard Christians say "I know I am stubborn.. ." or "I know I have to change my attitude, but. . ."

These are deliberate choices. Usually the choice is made because of a feeling, and it leads to a direction. Yes, the Holy Spirit convicts, and we can turn into obedience.

The problem is, most of the time, the attitude is justified instead of taken to the Lord. The writer to the Hebrews makes it clear that it is critical to avoid deliberate sin. A little is too much. Meaning, if I know something is sinful and I choose it anyway, I have entered into deliberate sin.

In this life, you will never be perfect, nor will I. But God's Word says that there is a time when deliberate sin ceases.

Soldier, protect your relationship with the Lord. Many have fallen away from active faith due to the power of the emotions leading to sin. Sin of the mouth, sin of the mind. Much gossip originates from spirit of murder.

Don't be self-examining all the time and don't be paranoid. The Servant of God must have a fear of God, and he must be changeable.

He must be constantly in the Word of God.

He must submit to the Lover of His Soul.

Outloud.
