Christian parent, do not yell at your children.

Parents who raise their children on their knees do not need to force the issue with a decibel level.

Children need to see parents who live by faith. They need to witness wisdom. Security. Firm authority. Children need a healthy fear of their parents, particularly when they know they have disobeyed.

It is far too easy to use an emotional explosion to compete with the child.

There is no competition. You have heaven's authority. Speak the truth and speak it at a reasonable level. Speak it in the awareness that the angels and demons are watching and listening.

Don't be hard and don't be mushy. Be firm. Speak in the Holy Spirit

And, pray about it.
