Obedience makes way for the Holy Spirit - the Spirit of God's Holiness. He gives power to witness, power to resist temptation, and power to love. But all release of the Holy Spirit into the common function of the Believer's life, depends on obedience to God's Word.

There is no way around it, and there are no alterations.

It is the way He has set it up.
