Everyone is gifted, and all are expected to lay down their
lives for the Body of Christ.
Soldier, please listen carefully: you are not expected to
feel gifted, or successful, or even spiritual. If you were to feel
empowered in those areas, there would be cause to be
concerned about deception.
But, God's Word says that everyone has a gift. If you do
not know what your gift is, someone in leadership will soon tell
you.
In the meantime, be at every meeting. Be on time. Look the
speaker in the eye. Sing loudly.
Give as much money as you can.
Pray for as many as you can - by name. Make a list if you
need to.
Is there someone you know who is obviously filled with the
Holy Spirit? Serving the Lord? Humble? Loving?
Be around that person as much as you can.
Tell the Lord you are available to serve Him.
Time is short.
Be available and be consistent.
Your reward will be His Presence.
