The riches in Christ can only be appropriated when we are willing to embrace The Cross.

Among Christians, here is a widespread misunderstanding that The cross is submitting to the hard thing. Many believe that taking up the Cross means managing to get through tough times, all the while knowing that the difficulty is simply is or her share of pain and suffering.

That is not the case at all.

The Cross is the place of the death of the flesh.
The Cross is where we identify with His sufferings.
The Cross is where we lay down our lives for the Brethren.
In taking up The Cross daily, we put aside all that would distract, and we follow after Him, with His agenda superseding ours.

Christian, understand today that with out taking up The Cross, there can be no song in the heart. Those who will not identify with Him must sink all their treasure in things that are temporal.

Without The Cross, there is no River of Living Water.
Without The Cross, there is no Vision. This is the reason so many Christian workers suffer from burnout and doubt.

Soldier of The cross, go to Him today and ask Him to reveal Himself more deeply and simply to you.

Ask Him outloud.
