Above all else, the Lord wants Obedience.

It is hard to imagine what Heaven's courtroom will be like for those who know better, but choose to disobey.

Obedience is a protection against the jealousy of others. Obedience keeps the believer from trying to compromise with those who seek their own ends.

Obedience trumps sentimentality. Sentimentality is one of the strongest emotions of the flesh, and even most Christians are not able to recognize it. It tugs at the heart strings and if allowed, sweeps into the mind, causing actions that are never wise. The believer who falls into this trap is always blind to the real situation.

He has made it clear. And, it is not hard. Obedience is a decision.

Soldier of The Cross, obey. There is no other way.
