Blessings:

Oh, Lord, as I stand before you tonight, I declare to you and before all of the unseen powers, that you are my Lord and my God.

Thank you for the blessing of the hard things.

Thank you for the privilege of yielding to you when the battle is at its highest.   Thank you for the assurances in your Word.   Thank you for the support of The Body.

Lord, it's so strange.  Nonetheless, I stand on your Word and on your Promises.

Take me.  Change me.  Use me.
     Anything to be like you.

     My Lord and my God.

Disappointment:

Early in my Christian life I learned that often,  the ones you help the most are the ones that will hurt you the most.

It isn't always the case, but it is such often enough that the Soldier of The Cross must learn to give it up to the Lord and move on.

Are you the critical issue or is the work of the Lord more important?

There are many times when the most thorough explanation and deepest love will not fix the matter.  The problem is the attitude and sin of the person who chooses to misunderstand.

This life is not the place where all justice is displayed. That will happen in the bye and bye.

Do all you can.  After you have left your gift at the alter and addressed the matter in a biblical way, let it go in prayer.

     Aloud.
To The One who knew about it before it happened.

Time:

Lord, tonight I come before you with the matter of too much to do and not enough time.

As your child, I know that you can multiply time just as you did the widow's staples, and the loaves and fishes.    As I stand before you,. I want to learn to live in the moment, to look for you and to sidestep pressure.

I ask for wisdom.  And light for just the next step.
I want to be long to you rather than belonging to the task.

     My Lord and my God.

Unto Him Against That Day:

Do yo believe that He is able?

Do you believe He is aware?
     Do you believe He cares?
Do you believe He never fails?

He is  not about just fixing things and keeping them stable.  He is about Love.  He is about preparing us for eternity.

This is not a small matter.

Soldier of The Cross, when you lay the matter at His feet in prayer, things become more clear to you.  He is more quickly and easily recognized.    Faith means that the mind goes to His Promises and the soul rests there.

     Tell Him
     Aloud.

Love:

Love can not be separated from itself.

Those in whom He lives and through whom He ministers, are drawn to each other and can not survive alone.

Not only do we need each other, but we can't stay away from each other if we are loving Him.  Those who are in love with the Lord are faithful pillars in the House of The Lord because that is where their hearts are.

Those who love Him are there when they have out of town company.
They are there when they are upset.
They are there when they are tired.
They are there not to get but to give.
They are there not because everything pleases them, but because that's where the Lord has planted them.

Love is made visible when His Own come together.  And He can always be seen, because those who are truly His seek each other out and crave to be together.

     Let's serve Him more heartily.
Let's be more available to minister Grace.
     Let's sing louder.
     Let's give more.
Let's see what needs to be done and do it.
Let's be more faithful in prayer.
     Let's memorize.

Let's love one another and walk in the Light as He is in the Light.

Moving On :

Soldier of The Cross, You must pray about all that is before you.

Then, you must move into the next hour.  You can't deal with the things that are not before you other than by prayer.

Soldier, you must understand this matter.   You may and must pray about all matters, and then you must advance into the thing that is immediately before you.

If there is no wisdom for the matter, wait for Him.

He will fix it, but in such a way that there is an eternal solution - not a band aide.

     Agree with Him.
     Aloud.

Great Is Thy Faithfulness:

Can you come up with any greater faithfulness than our God?

Soldier of The Cross.  You were called.  You were chosen.  You crossed the Line and told Him you would serve and that you would be a Living Sacrifice.

Nothing has changed - it only seems like it.

His Promises are still the same.
His Power is still the same.
His Love is still the same.
His Blood is still the same.

Soldier, look up and move on!

Moving on:

Soldier of The Cross, when the going gets tough, you must buck up.

You have the Promises of God, you have been touched by Him and you have the Indwelling Holy Spirit.

You can walk on the water.  The issue is, are you available?

What may He do with your life?  May He reveal himself, or are you demanding that He stay in the background and promote you as a success?

Will you obey, or must you be right?

     Soldier, tell Him.
     Alone and aloud.
     Today.

No Night:

Soldier of The Cross, remember that with Him, there is no darkness, nor even any shadow of turning.

Your goal is to walk in the Light as He is in the Light.  We must have fellowship one with another.

What is your issue?  What is the matter that separates?

     Your sin or someone else'?

Soldier of The Cross, consider the One who has designed the current matter.  Have you poured it out to Him in the Cathedral of your heart?  If so, you will be able to let it go and move on the The Next Thing.

There is much to do and there are many to rescue.

     Move!

Fear:

For the believer, fear means that God is not in control.

Fear is different than alarm.  Alarm is the immediate reaction to any situation that demands a response.  It can be an adrenaline reaction, a visual reaction or an emotional reaction.  The important thing is that the one who is meeting with the Lord will immediately be assured and led by the Holy Spiri.  The second reaction will be one of choice - choose His way or the way of the first reaction.

Fear stems from a deep-rooted concern that there is no dependable help.  Fear is the result of festered thoughts.  Fear is the result of doubting the Word and Promises of God.

     Those who fear know it.

Soldier of The Cross, tell Him you trust Him.  For anything.  At any time.  Anywhere.
     Tell Him aloud.
