Time with the Lord:

When a believer spends time with the Lord, he changes.
And just like the Glory that was reflected on Moses' face, the one who prays and prays privately, in his own language (not tongues) bears about him the Glory of the Lord.
Over time, he becomes less interested in seeing things fixed and more interested in bringing the broken to Jesus. He becomes calm.
He listens well. He is tender, but not squishy.
He has a reordered sense of priorities.
He has fallen in Love with the Lover of his Soul!

Dust Clouds:

Remember, the enemy loves to stir up dust clouds.
Those who have experience with God know  that when human decisions are made
and the unthinkable is about to happen, prayer can easily avert the dark plan.
Let us remember who we serve, and run to Him who can easily solve the
unsolvable.

Before You:

Soldier, what is the matter before you?

Chances are it is simple but just feels complicated.  Right?

Does God's Word dictate the next step or the restraint from any step?    Of course.  There is no question.  So, you must agree with God.

There is simply nothing else.  When the storm hits and things blow apart, He is still the same.

Oh Lord, as I stand before you tonight, I come to you because there is no other.

You touched me and I was never the same.  I know you love me with an Everlasting Love, and I also know my name is inscribed on the palms of your hands.

Help me,  my Lord and my God.

His Glory:

How does the Soldier of The Cross experience the Glory of The Lord?

     By agreeing with God.

When He is free to reveal Himself and minister through His Own, there is a Presence that is undeniable.   That Presence is such that it penetrates through the thickest walls and melts the hardest heart.

     Prayer draws in His Presence.
     Obedience draws in His Presence.
     Wisdom draws in His Presence.
Waiting on Him draws in His Presence.

Soldier,  if you want Him, you will tell Him so.  He who gave Himself for you and has your name written on the palms of His hands, is waiting to reveal His own Life through yours.

     May He?
     Tell Him so.  Today.
     Alone and aloud.

His Life

What releases the Life of The Lord?

     Agreement with God.

Soldier of The Cross,  consider what He has asked.  He wants you to agree with Him without explanation.  He wants to you go when sent.  He will put words in your mouth if you are willing to speak.

     What do you want?

     Time is short.

     Tell Him.
     Aloud.

More Than Enough:

Soldier of The Cross,  you have made your decision.

     What does that mean?  Honesty.
     Abandon.
     Submission.
     Obedience.

Can you name anything more valuable?

     Tell Him alone and aloud.

No Matter What:

     So Soldier, are you available?

     What is the cause?
     What is the cost?

     Tell Him.

     Aloud and alone.

The Cross:

The Cross is lighter than its weight.

There is  no other way to put the burden down, than by the taking up of The Cross.  Otherwise, He would not have said:

"And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me."
             Luke 9:23

The Cross is the place of the death of the flesh.  The flesh wants its own way.  The flesh wants to control.  The flesh wants to have things all organized in this life.  The flesh resists all that He is.

Soldier, there is no freedom apart from The Cross.

He will reveal the beauty.  He will woo you.
Tell Him and tell Him today.
     Aloud.

His Way:

Soldier, the problem with this life is that so often, it seems that the vertical clashes with the horizontal.

We have so many Promises and it sometimes seems that scrutiny exposes a failure of those promises as applied to the situation.  Of course, that is not reality.

Reality is what He has said.  Reality is eternity.  Reality is faith rather than sight.

Soldier of The Cross, the reason we must walk by faith is because He did not design us to assess and fix.  He alone can do that.

How difficult is it?  How strange is it?  Are there those who don't understand?

The person who matters is you.  Your standing before Him.  Your vision for belong to Him rather than belonging to the situation is critical.

      Tell Him.
      Alone and aloud.

Your Lord:

Soldier of The Cross, who is your Lord?

Is He involved in His own issues, or can He be believed - does He really love you?  When asked, will He intervene, or is He so remote that He may or may not attend to the matter?\

Your bottom line is, who is He?
Do you believe He can be trusted?
     Has He touched you?

Soldier,  why would you not trust the One who holds the stars in place?
